Happy Whatever-Holiday-You-Celebrate to everybody!

I’m not usually first in line on the whole Xmas spirit thing, but now that we have a little one, I’m planning on getting a little more into it.

This year was pretty mellow. We went over to Lisan’s house for Xmas eve with all of Susan’s family that are in town. As usual, it was a mesh of Chinese, Taiwanese, and traditional American holiday food. Then we went back the next morning for our more intimate, immediate family version, but since Susan’s mom and dad are in Taiwan at the moment, it was just us and Lisan’s family.

This is our holiday card. Here’s the cutesy stuff we put on the back:

The Twelve Days of Ex-Mas

12 dirty diapers (per day)
11 miles of strolling
10 bibs need changing
9 loads of laundry
8 socks-a-missing
7 million pictures
6 nightly feedings
5am wake up…
4 long-distance grandparents
3 hours of sleep
2 tired parents
and a baby that makes us happy!

hoping you have a fun-filled and healthy holiday season…

love,

susan, grace, and baby exie
