family tree

My parents are here this week. As they’ve done before when visiting, they stay with us for the first half of the week and then go to Fremont to visit my brother’s family for the second half. It’s been really great to have them visiting so much recently, both for us and for Exie. Coincidentally, Susan’s father is home from Taiwan this week, too (he spends the majority of the year there and usually gets to come home and visit his wife, daughters, and grandchildren three times per year or so). So yesterday, both sets of Exie’s grandparents were visiting us at the same time. For all we know, this may never happen again (though we hope it does), so we took some photos with everybody together. I like to think that someday Exie will hang this picture in a special place.
