Yes, I know, I wrote a post about Exie’s playgroup already, but there’s been a new addition; Rachelle (pronounced “Raquel”) and her daughter Nola joined a few weeks ago. We’d met them a few times at some of the parent support groups, so we’re very happy to have them join the playgroup. The only negative is that now Exie has some competition for boyfriends. Here are some pix of them in the communal garden a few steps from our back door:
Elizabeth & Jonas, Susan & Exie, Rachelle & Nora, and Aude & Antoine
(unfortunately, Aleksandra & Max are missing ’cause poor Max is ill at the moment)
And here’s an interesting note about baby weight percentiles. Exie is in the 10th percentile in terms of weight and somewhere shy of 50th in hieght. Nola (who is two weeks older) is in the 50th for weight and the 90th for height. Honestly, they don’t really appear that different in size to me. I guess that just goes to show how big the bell is on the bell curve. Defensive about my daughter’s size? Me? What makes you say that?
